Game shows are the loudest corner of any live casino. A presenter spins a giant wheel, a random multiplier lights up, and now and then the whole table enters a bonus round. Crazy Time is the best-known of these. It is simple to play but harder to judge, because the payouts depend on multipliers you cannot see in advance. This guide explains how the wheel is built, what the bonus rounds do, and how spreading bets changes what you actually win and lose.
How the wheel is built
The Crazy Time wheel has 54 segments. Most are numbers, and each number pays its own value when it lands, plus your stake back. The rest are bonus segments that trigger a separate game. Before every spin a "top slot" picks one segment and attaches a random multiplier to it, which is where the large wins come from.
| Segment | How many on the wheel | Chance per spin | Base payout |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 21 | 38.9% | 1 to 1 |
| 2 | 13 | 24.1% | 2 to 1 |
| 5 | 7 | 13.0% | 5 to 1 |
| 10 | 4 | 7.4% | 10 to 1 |
| Coin Flip bonus | 4 | 7.4% | Varies |
| Cash Hunt bonus | 2 | 3.7% | Varies |
| Pachinko bonus | 2 | 3.7% | Varies |
| Crazy Time bonus | 1 | 1.9% | Varies |
The four bonus rounds
Each bonus segment opens its own mini game. Coin Flip tosses a coin with a different multiplier on each side. Cash Hunt shows a wall of hidden multipliers and each player picks one. Pachinko drops a puck down a peg board onto multipliers at the bottom. Crazy Time itself moves into a bigger virtual wheel where players pick a flapper colour and a multiplier is spun.
You only take part in a bonus round if you had a bet on that segment when it landed. That is why many players spread small stakes across every bonus.
Spreading bets: a worked example
Suppose, hypothetically, you put ৳10 on each of the eight segments, ৳80 per spin. Whatever lands, seven of your eight bets lose. If 1 lands (the most common result, 38.9% of spins), you get ৳20 back from the ৳10 on that segment: a net loss of ৳60 on the spin. If 2 lands, you get ৳30 back, a net of -৳50. Only a 10, a strong top-slot multiplier or a good bonus round puts that spin ahead.
The effect is that spreading bets feels busy and exciting while losing small amounts on most spins, with occasional large returns. Over many spins the long-run cost of game shows tends to sit around a few percent of stakes, varying by bet, which is higher than baccarat's main bets. At perhaps 30 to 40 spins an hour, ৳80 a spin is around ৳2,400 to ৳3,200 staked per hour. Our cost-per-hour post shows how to turn that into a budget.
Other game shows
Many live lobbies carry other shows built on the same idea: a simpler money wheel, a dice game with multipliers, or a show that mixes a wheel with a board game. They share the same pattern of frequent small results and rare big multipliers. Before trying a new one, open its rules and look for the number of segments and the payout of each, then do the sum above with your own stake.
