- Know your limit
Apps that are not updated tend to fail in small, irritating ways: games that will not load, a cashier screen that freezes, or a sudden "please update" message. Because the PJOK Android app is installed from an APK rather than Google Play, updates do not always happen by themselves. This guide explains how to tell an update is needed, the three levels of fix from lightest to heaviest, and what stays safe throughout, which is your account and balance on PJOK.
Signs that an update is needed
Your balance and history are stored on PJOK, not in the app, so updating or reinstalling does not affect them.
- The app shows an update prompt or version message
- Games or the cashier fail to load while the website works
- Login fails in the app but works in the browser
- The app closes immediately after opening
Three levels of fix
Start with the lightest option and move down only if it fails:
| Level | What to do | When |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Clear cache | Settings > Apps > PJOK > Storage > Clear cache | Slow or blank screens |
| 2. Install over | Download the latest APK from PJOK and install over the old one | Update prompt or broken features |
| 3. Clean reinstall | Uninstall, restart phone, install latest APK | Crashes or "App not installed" |
Getting the latest version
Download the newest APK from the same sources as before: the PJOK site at pjok.net, pjok.vip or jili5222.com, or pjokapp.com. Do not update from a link sent in a message. If Android blocks the install, allow unknown apps for your browser once again, then switch it back off.
If an install over the old version fails, the installation guide explains each error message. The Android APK guide covers permissions.
iPhone and mobile web
If you use PJOK through Safari or a home-screen shortcut, it updates every time it loads. Problems there are usually fixed by clearing website data in Safari settings. See the iOS guide for details, or go back to the app hub.
Three steps
How to update the PJOK app in 3 steps
- 1Try clearing cache
Clear the app cache and reopen it; this fixes many issues without a download.
- 2Install the newest APK
Download the latest file from PJOK or pjokapp.com and install it over the old one.
- 3Reinstall if needed
If problems continue, uninstall, restart and install fresh, then sign in.
